“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:31–32, ESV)

Lucy my little daughter came to me today with her hand stuck in a Noah’s ark toy. She reached in grabbed a little necklace inside the ark and could not get her hand back out. She was very frustrated and crying… loudly. In one of my most awesome dad moments I looked at her and said “Honey just let the necklace go.” She did, the Ark fell off and she was happy again.

Oh God how many things in my life have caused me so much pain, anguish and stress because I would not let something go? Too many I suppose. What made me look like an awesome dad today to my daughter didn’t fool you God.
